Jasmin Jug was born in 1986 in Varazdin. He graduated in 2005 from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering. He received his PhD in 2020 at the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering in Zagreb. Since September 2011 he has been working as an associate at the Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering in Varazdin. He participated in five scientific research projects and performed exercises from nine courses in the study "Environmental Engineering". He has co-authored six scientific and seven professional papers in journals and has participated in several conferences in the country and abroad. He is also continuously engaged in professional work. He is a member of CGS and ISRM. He speaks English and German.
