MA Tarja Knuutinen is an archaeologist specialized in landscape archaeology and medieval archaeology. She has been working with geophysical methods, especially GPR, both in scientific archaeological research projects and in contract archaeology. Currently, she is finishing off her PhD in archaeology in the University of Helsinki and working as an archaeologist in the provincial museum of Länsi-Uusimaa.
